Breaking the Bias on International Women’s Day 2022
Happy #InternationalWomensDay!
International Women’s Day is more than just a date. It is a day that seeks to promote a world where difference is celebrated; that imagines a world free of biases, discrimination, and stereotypes. This year’s theme is #BreaktheBias.
Biases can crop up – consciously or unconsciously – in our actions and words, and can have a major effect on women trying to move ahead in professional, and everyday, environments. To break them we need to take a look at how we can alter our behavior and work together to celebrate our differences, forge women’s equality and #BreaktheBias.
Having as diverse a team as possible underpins a growth mindset for all, and it’s something that Agent3 prioritizes. While equality for all is a journey rather than a destination, we are proud to have created a working environment at Agent3 that encourages everyone to speak up and lend support to this cause. We strive to ensure we are welcoming, supportive, and provide equal opportunity to all.
In honor of so many fantastic women employed at Agent3, this year we wanted to take a moment to share with you how some of our employees across the globe are looking to break the bias in their everyday and working lives – to make a world that is free from gender discrimination and promote equality.
They are:
- Clive Armitage, Agent3 CEO
- Dave Feinberg, Partner, General Manager of This Machine at Agent3
- Eleanor Hardie, Junior Account Executive
- Fiona McGinley, Strategic Program and Production Manager
- Jen Pearson, Account Director, APAC
- Morgan Christopher, Director Customer Strategy and Success, AMER
Take a look at their videos to hear what each of them had to say in response to the question: ‘How are you looking to #BreaktheBias for IWD and beyond?’ We promise you’ll find it enlightening and, who knows, perhaps the power of their words will convince you to start taking some of these steps in your own day-to-day or working life!
How are you choosing to #BreaktheBias this year? We’d love to hear about it! Make sure to tag us at @weareagent3 and include #IWD and #BreakTheBias in the post.
