Putting our best foot forward…

At Agent3 we’re passionately committed to delivering a positive impact to our customers’ efforts in Account Based Marketing, but we’re just as passionate about delivering a positive impact on the wider communities where we do business, wherever we can.  It’s why we have embarked on initiatives like “Bridging The Gap” where we’ve invested time to help inner London schoolchildren better understand careers in digital marketing. And now, in the last month our (newly established and small but perfectly formed) APAC team has stepped forward (no pun intended!) to proudly support the efforts of our global client Salesforce in the Wayside Chapel ‘Long Walk Home’ fundraising event.

In an average week, a person experiencing homelessness walks an average distance of 28kms as they go from service to service, to their next shelter or even just looking for a safe place to sleep.  Understanding this, the members of the Agent3 APAC team, myself included,  decided to come together to walk 28kms to help raise awareness and much needed funds for people experiencing the crisis of homelessness.  Ordinarily we would all have taken part in the Long Walk Home collectively, but this being a year like no other, we participated virtually over the week of 26th October -1st November, and I’m delighted to report we hit our fundraising goal of $1000.  In total, the Long Walk Home event has raised very close to $1m and we’re proud to see that our client, Salesforce, raised an incredible $56,948 through their own efforts.

We have three core values at Agent3; collaborate, lead and challenge and we like to think that we display these values in all we do. Participating in the Long Walk Home was a fantastic opportunity for us to live up to these values and to make a positive impact on our wider community in Australia at the same time.  Consequently, we’re already planning for the Long Walk Home 2021 where we hope to walk as one team together and to raise even more funds next time around.  Look out for how we did in 12 months from now!
