Mid-Level Developer

Job description

Agent3 is a provider of digital marketing software and consultancy services. We combine data, content and technology to create solutions for major global clients. The candidate will be working within a small team, focused on developing the business’ core software platform. The role will entail developing a good knowledge of the platform, and then working as part of our engineering team to enhance existing features, maintain the stability and performance of the services and building new modules from scratch.

The role will see the candidate working closely with the Senior Developer, engineering and customer team to develop and deliver to our product roadmap. Our roadmap is a collaborative effort that factors in the commercial, engineering and customer needs. In this role you would expect to contribute to technical considerations and decisions and have some influence on the ideas that we progress and crucially how the team execute on them day-to-day. While this role is predominantly backed, there will be opportunities to explore how the front-end of our application works and to understand the end-to-end application stack.

Depending on the candidate’s existing skill set and desires for personal development, there will be opportunities for expanding the role in a number of ways, whether that be through new technologies, mentoring others, or in some other area of the business.

Required Skills:

Strong working knowledge/experience:

  • C# (ASP.NET, dotnet core 2.0+)
  • Visual Studio
  • Git
  • Modern Windows and Unix based OS

Familiarity with:

  • Elasticsearch
  • Cassandra
  • RabbitMQ or similar AMQP based messaging solution
  • GRPC
  • Browser-based JavaScript including React
  • Docker
  • AWS or similar cloud provider
